Overview

This isn’t just another party. Our Mummy party are beamed right from the heart of Cairo by our team of Egyptian experts (That’s right. These are true-blue experts on Mummies who also know how to have fun). The objective of the theme is to ensure that your child and friends not only have a lot of fun but also learn about ancient Egypt.

Your child’s friends can either converge at your house and if that’s not possible, log in from their own homes to attend the party.

Here is how it works:

What’s a Mummy party without, well, mummies. Before the party, we will send you a personalised pack with Egyptian masks, bandage (the activities include dressing someone up as a mummy under the watchful eyes of our expert), activity sheets, mummy-branded paper plates, glasses and information cards. The rest of the hour is packed with interactive and exciting mummy games and activities. Children will learn how to make a Mummy, unlock mysteries of a pyramid, learn to write their names using hieroglyphics. Our experts will even be singing a personalised birthday Egyptian birthday song.

While the party is filled with activities to ensure kids have a lot of fun, it’s also designed in a way that children have a learning experience. By the end of the party children will have learned in-depth about not just facts about Mummies but also about ancient Egypt.

Mina Samy Fareed

Mina Samy Fareed is a Researcher in Egyptology and a demonstrator in the Tourism Guidance Department, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Fayoum University, Egypt. Mina has over six years of experience in tour guiding and is extremely passionate about all things Egypt. (Mummies being a specialty). Mina has made several videos teaching the ancient Egyptian script (Heiroglyphs)

Mina has acted as the official tour guide for Fayoum University’s delegations and programs including for JICA’s (Japan International Cooperation Agency), and Diplomatic delegations that visit Egypt.

How it works

Once you book this experience, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to join the session. If your child's friends are joining your remotely, please send the link to them. All you and your child's friends need to do is click on the link on the said date and time. Please note that you do not have to download Zoom to access the session, and only need to follow the link on the date and time confirmed. You can access the session from your mobile, laptop or desktop.

The price is for 10 children (10 logins). You can add more children by paying a supplement of £5 per child.
